ABOUT QUENTIN KROG

After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch with a drama degree at the end of 2004, Quentin has made the most of his 4 years in the local entertainment industry. He has appeared in several television commercials, locally and internationally. Cameo appearances include Sci-Fi Series Charlie Jade, Afrikaans Crime Drama Orion, International Docu-Drama 3 Days To Jonestown and alongside Colin Farrel in the Feature film Ask the Dust. In 2005 he appeared on South African television screens for the first time in a lead role for the Afrikaans sitcom Gabriel. He currently appears in Shooting Stars, a Soccer Drama series on E-tv, and has also starred on Mnet in the Action Drama Series Innocent Times.

On the stage; The KKNK in 2005 saw him nominated for ‘Best Professional Theatre Debut’ a.k.a the Slurpie Award for his performance as ‘Tebaldo’ in Romeo & Julia, directed by Marthinus Basson. And a year later, at the 2006 KKNK Kanna Awards Ceremony, he was awarded the ‘Best Performer in Theatre Accolade’ with co-star Neels van Jaarsveld for his performance in Boks.

Not content with just acting, Quentin is also an established Voice artist, Independent film Producer & Freelance Video Editor and runs an independent video production company called Firestorm Productions, which is hard at work busy producing a number of various corporate videos, documentaries, music videos, and pilots.
